Incorrect hashes

The page for Final Fantasy 1 https://vimm.net/vault/316 claims the CRC for the ROM is "cebd2a31". I checked the downloaded file and it's actually "AB12ECE6". I found a page on this site claiming the hashes are generated based on the files, but that seems to be untrue. How many of the hashes listed on this site are bullshit?
