Or you could find a password generator and give yourself EVERYTHING (the Justin Bailey cheat misses quite a few items).
(5 minutes later...)
Here's one that looks good: http://games.technoplaza.net/mpg/
If you don't like that one you can always hit Google.
If you don't like to use password generators, there are a bunch of actual codes at GameFAQS.com

As an aside, there are a zillion passwords that work for Metroid, so there's nothing special about "JUSTIN BAILEY" anyway.

In Metroid, user can input
22300745198530623141535718272648361505980416 (64^24) different passwords. [3]
Out of them, 87112285931760246646623899502532662132736 (2^128 * 256) are valid. [4]
By guessing randomly, one has 1 chance in 256 of coming up with a password that is accepted by the game.
[3]: Actually 65^24, but the 64th symbol (space) is redundant and overlaps with existing encodings.
[4]: Though about 69% (11/16) of them do nothing but reset the game.

hmm, i might try that tonight. also, im testing my signiture.
