Hello people. Many of you will not know me. Some of you will, but I was just passing and I noticed Vimm, you are finally thinking about pulling the plug (quite literally) on Vimms Lair.

Well, this site started a movement, started so many friendships, so many fights, so many things. If only you knew the community that had exploded back in the late 90's and early 2000 onwards. Who remember Shinto man? I'm sure a lot of you will. I remember him as a young kid, saying the most bizarre things. Then as the YEARS went on, he grew into a man. In front of my eyes (through the internet, admittedly). The same goes for Snake Byte. I think he was either 12 or 13 when we met. Now he's graduated college, has a girlfriend and a job. Who could forget Snake Eyes, who created the emulation based Marbysworld with me? And even came to stay with me in England, although the story was not a happy ending. There's John Ross, Pepsi Beth, Paul (black fury) and more.

All of these people became my friends, through Vimms Lair. Vimm's Lair was where it all started for me on the internet. I even used to host my web site here when that was available.

So Vimm, I understand what it's like being in front of a Computer all day working. I now work for an ISP, and it's not fun coming home and working with domains etc.

But, for however long this site exists, you need to know it is the absolute icon for classic games. It is the place where I fell in love with Emulation. You can't beat it.

So whatever the future hold for Vimms Lair, know you created a phenomenon online.

So many good memories... a site about Nostalgia has become for many people, Vimm, a part of their childhood and adult life. That's nostalgic in it's self.

For all the old school people - Marbalious baby.
