Sounds great ,I am glad for you ,non poor bastard bastard! So what slot type dose the GPU use AGP or PCIEx16? What is the clock speed of the processor and its FSB and the most important what is the memory speed and what is the mother board FSB? If you don't know you should be able to find out in the BIOS.
