Apparently it was last updated sometime in 2015. It may work well now but for the long term, if MelonDS is constantly worked on more, it'll probably beat DeSmuMe.
why isn't DeSmuMe a recommended DS emulator? I've tried both it and melonDS and found that DeSmuMe is far better.
