Re: Wii games and USB loader GX

The SD card is exactly why. I learned that lesson myself, most imported games refuse to run off sd cards whether you use USB loader gx or Wiiflow. I suggest looking at this:

and get a real usb, they are fairly cheap.

I downloaded a few games off The Vault. I got Wii Play, and Wii Sports + Wii sports Resort. I unzipped them with an online unzipper, (I was on a Chromebook at the time) and then copied the 2 wbfs files into the wbfs folder. After not coming up at all, I did some research and discovered that the games have to be in a folder, so I did that. After inserting the usb back into the Wii, the games did pop up, but when clicked, at it was was a blank channel. It has the start and the settings button, plus the star rating, but no title picture. All black. If I pressed the start button, It would go to a fully black screen for 5-10 seconds, then exit to the homebrew menu. I'm stuck! A couple of things to note. The usb i currently use is actually a 64gig micro SD card connected to a SD to usb converter. I formatted it to fat32. A few people said that this was probably the reason, and just to buy an HDD. but When I rip legal Wii games onto the SD/usb, they work perfectly fine. Only the pirated games don't work. If you can help, please do! Thanks.
