This game just doesn't play well with anything other than original hardware at all. MelonDS freezes in the same place. Apparently it has to do with timing accuracy during that cutscene.
Odd.
Would expect it to work better with actual hardware, especially if it's a DS game on a 3DS, a superior system.
I play the same game on my laptop, with the Desmume DS emulator.
TWEWY runs pretty iffy with Desmume, but still works.
