Re: Burning DVDs

Another thing I wanted to ask. Do I need a save file in my memory card of a game I'm trying to burn? I'm burning the files from this site onto my discs as I don't have the actual games aside from a couple cheap legit ones.
"Save your game *ribbit*?"
"Save your game *ribbit*?"
Here is the type of disc I used. https://www.ebuy7.com/item/banana-3-inch-dvd-r-burning-disc-1-4g-blank-disc-50-sheets-barrel-8cm-three-inch-small-disc-for-camcorder-626693969527. Would burning the disc at 1x speed be better than 2x speed. My external drive only lets me burn up to 2x. As for my Xeno chip, when I look at it as my GameCube boots up on a legit disc it flashes red once, then turns orange and remains orange until I turn the console off. And as for my laser, I don't mind, I'm not setting the laser too low and replacements if it eventually pops are like 30 bucks. Also here is what my burned vs unburned disc looked like. https://imgur.com/gallery/VsfvMGu . Lastly I do think my pot MIGHT need to be adjusted more. right now when I try to play a disc it lingers on the gamecube logo after boot up and it takes a lot longer than before to error saying disc could not be read. Before I adjusted the pot it took like 10 seconds to error message, now it takes several minutes. I used IMGburn to burn my discs which comes with a verification mode though I don't know how good it it.
