Try changing the cIOS used for that game in USB Loader GX settings for that game. It depends on what cIOS you have installed but try 249, 250, and 251. Usually one of those will work. If you get the black screen try a different one.

So apparently I was trying to launch Mario Strikers Charged on my wii in usb loader gx. I then got a permanent black screen and then I was forced to hold down the power button until it turned off. Also, I ran the game in Dolphin and I was able to get to the strap screen.
