New to emulation and have a few questions

Hello there, I am new to emulation and just recently downloaded the psxe Emulator, along with Silent Hill. And unfortunately when I try to play this rom the game runs fine with very little issues if any at all. But the cut scenes themselves cut frames. The game works fine while playing although its a little clunky on a series x controller. But the cut scenes are choppy and sometimes the voice lines themselves are laggy and sometimes they are repeated. Not exactly sure why, but if anyone has any tips on setting up the emulator superbly would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance. :)
