Nintendo DSi maybe?

So I've read up on the launch of the DSi and while I do know it's backwards compatible with a bunch of DS games, I know there must have been at least one or two original titles for the console. The question is though, is it considered at least two generations old? I'd argue it could be considering the hybrid nature of the Switch, but that could also be a point against the DSi being two generations old. I don't know, I'm just curious if we could ever get a section for DSi emulation; they're discontinued, but I don't know if there's emulators for it.
