Where in the game it freezes (before this, after that)? What version of the emulator you're using (we're talking about Snes9X right?)? What exactly does the error message say? I don't really use Snes9x and never encountered this problem with Zsnes, but if you provide more info I might be able to help.
Also, are you doing more than just playing games on your PC when you play? If you are, it could be you're just overloading your system. Also, try fiddling with the sound driver (under Sound-> Settings..), since I remember reading that the sound drivers were causing crashes.
I've been playing ff3 the past few days, but i've got to a part of the game where it'll give me an error message and shut down. I've tried countering it by constantly saving, but it seems hopeless for me. Any suggestions on how to stop this? Thanks!
