video walkthrough

I want to make a video walkthrough 4 final fantasy 5 but have nothing to record it with. so I was wondering if i could just record it on my Zsnes Emulator. But once i have that video recorded on my Emulator i have no idea if you can save it anywhere. If u can save it onto your computer is it ok to do so and use it as a public video walkthrough???
