Yeah...didnt work ive got Xp and bunch of antivirus crap as well and god knows what else, but dont worry about because the snes9x is doing just fine for the moment being so no worrys ...and the gui filter wasnt the problem....like i said i get a black screen and i dont see anything and i can like put my mouse on it and move the screen around though.. i only wanted smoother graphics...*sniff....but all is well and thanks for trying...allthough if anyone has any other ideas to which the problem could be solved please post a message if it isnt of any problem....txs

For your ZSNES problem, try going to Misc -> GUI Opns and turn off Filtered GUI (or turn it on if it's off).
