Generally, BGB won't load any ROM without a GB or GBC extension.

i just got the "BGB gameboy emulator" and i downloaded a rom for it, but every time i click "load rom" to select it, i can only click its file with a zipper on it. so i go to click it and it says its unable to find any roms. can somebody help?
