1. Probably because it's a big waste of space storing the full ISO since most of them are full of junk data.
2. If you want to use NKit 2 go here and join the discord and go to the releases and download the latest one for your system.

two part question first why don't you guys just have an option for .iso files for the gamecube. and any update on NKit2? so i can reconvert my .ciso to .iso files
