What GBA emulator are you using? What browser emulator did you use?

Yesterday I started playing a game boy color game (Oracle of Ages) on the browser emulator. I used the export save file on the corner, which saved a .srm file. Today I tried to import it to the game and nothing happens. What am I missing? Is the save lost forever? Thanks.
