A lone router managed to get zapped in a recent storm despite being connected to a surge protector with other devices, and as a result the site was down for two days until a replacement arrived. While the site was down all downloads in The Manual Project were changed to be dynamically generated. Since the manual is created when someone clicks the download button it will take a bit longer for the download to start, however this also adds much more flexibility now and in the future. This also corrects an issue with most NES and SNES vlm manuals printing at incorrect sizes, as well as many other manuals. Also, being the first of the month Vimm's Rant has been introduced on the main page. This could be a one-time thing or a regular (monthly?) event, and it'll most likely be decided based on feedback.
