The Vimm's Lair Manual Viewer 2.0 has been released! If you have any feedback about the new version, please post it on the boards. Here's a list of what's new.
- Installation file is much smaller (1/3 as large as before)
- New version 2.0 manual format.
- Manuals are a little bit smaller.
- Sorry, the Manual Viewer 2.0 is not compatible with pre-2.0 manuals.
- Manuals load in the main window rather than opening a new window.
- All manuals are now printable.
- Printouts still have a grid of lines displayed over them due to using freeware image printing code. The full version prints without lines and would cost $100.
- Backwards compatibility may be added in the future if people want it, however 1.x manuals would still load in a new window and may or may not be printable.
