There is the Sonic Unleashed Demo Called Sonic World Adventure and the sonic genarations demo with a menu selecting classic or modern

Well I mean unless they have exclusive content there's not really a point, for demo disks there might be some reason to keep it archived, like those cool menus and games that may have never came out, but for trials i could just play a game with a 1 hour timer then pull up a time up png and get the same experience.
TLDR; Demos if they have exclusive content yes, trials it depends
