The "complaint area" was when you registered. No new boxes would appear, it would just say in the northwest corner of the screen that information wasn't filled out correctly.
The Login seems to be working correctly for now, at least when I login as Tricob99 (my third login name). I was never able to get my original login working again, and gave up on that username as of yesterday.

One of the new board changes are that password are now encrypted on the server and they were all encrypted during the transfer. That allows me to let people securely store their login info so they don't have to login each time.
