The keys should scan more reliably if you use the numeric keypad rather than the four arrow keys.

Aye, so I don't know anything about emulators, let alone programming and code. But could there be a chance of somebody making the GENS emu an 8 directional configuration rather than the 4 way (up, down, left right) setup? Some of the games that require you to play in a diagnal setup (Marble Madness, Sonic 3D) are impossible to play. Just giving a heads up on this.
