Unfortunately yes; there are a lot of brainlets and smartphone kiddies that will only communicate using social media, which puts projects like this at risk. These are people who will adamantly refuse to do something because it requires them to push more than three buttons.

People keep posting about this website on twitter still, right now i saw a big account aknowledge the recent dmca takedown, this attention cannot be good especially now. is it really that hard to discuss here or on the official discord instead of enormous platforms like twitter?
