do you think there's a way the downloads could be up again without screenshots after some time passes? or would the site be under attack still in the future?

I received a follow-up notice today from mm-nintendo.com correcting the wording (and grammar) of the originals. Here's the new text.

This notice is provided pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 USC § 512. I write to report that the website listed below includes links to images and downloads that infringe on copyrights owned by Nintendo of America Inc. A full list of URLs with infringing materials is below. In addition, the site displays Nintendo’s trademarks and other intellectual property (including characters) which is likely to lead to consumer confusion.

The referenced downloads have been permanently removed.
