So the games haven't been completely lost then? We need to do more digging to make absolutely certain of this. Evil greedy corpos taking games into their grubby mitts and not letting go is pure malice incarnate. We need to make sure these games are 100% preserved.

Presumably they're still on the server. Redump and No-Intro still have their archives as well (which is what the Vimm database is based on), and there are still other sites that carry copies of those archives that other people can download.
