True. However, some of the remasters have been worse(like SW Battlefront Collection) or are censored for "modern audiences"(like Baiten Kaitos Collection).

Yeah but we got more remasters as a result! Now we're getting a Marvel VS. Capcom collection, Dragon Quest 1-3 HD-2D remakes, and DKC Returns! It's a slow trickle though. It's been 11 years since the last port of Marvel VS. Capcom 2 on consoles and that wasn't even a physical release nor was it a complete Marvel VS. Capcom collection. I'd nab the physical version of the new collection just for preservation sake and because it has rollback online netcode.
