No-Intro is a project which catalogs information about ROM dumps. They're a great source of information about different revisions and regional releases of games. Vimm uses them as a source of checksums to compare files in the database against. If two files have the same checksum, then they're likely to be identical and so Vimm can ensure that ROM uploads are identical to known good dumps as well as ensure that no file corruption has taken place.

No-Intro does not themselves make downloads available, however there are other sites where people will upload No-Intro verified ROMs. Vimm is not the only source on the Internet for them.

I see this from every download I get and it comes from a note with each file uploaded here. Were they originally uploaded by this user before? If he was the original uploader, I think I might know where to get the rest of the games I need from. Just confirm who was in charge of uploading things here, thanks!
