THANK YOU so very much for taking the time. i don't know why i didn't think to check the japanese version.
just curious... where does one find a master list of how MAME roms are named?
the names of the roms are sometimes silly, and often confusing & i can't find the game i'm looking for

Revision G is one of the Japanese revisions of the original "Makaimura", known in English as "Ghosts 'n' Goblins".
In MAME, the ROM is titled "makaimurg".
