What's ESA's problem?

Posted by yellowway360 on .
I get Nintendo and Sega copyrighting their games because they obviously own them and all. But why do many games say that they were taken down by the ESA? As far as I know they didn't make Minecraft, they didn't make Need for Speed. Why are they taking them down? Nintendo (and Sega) taking down their own stuff wouldve been bad enough, and yet ESA just had to seal in the cracks didn't they?

(Tbh until this event happened I didn't even know who they were lol)

Vimm's Lair has been asked to remove many games from The Vault on behalf of Nintendo, Sega, Lego, and the ESA. While most of these games (and the hardware to play them) haven't been sold in decades, ultimately it's their prerogative so these games are now gone for good.
