@stupidgamer201 damn that's harsh of them plus they don't even feel the same on their '' susbctiption'' page cause that kills all the nostalgia i hope one day vimm will restore the ROM's and not get a dmca request again cause this site is pure gold for rom's on ps2 and this website is the only one that worked with my ps2. Any sugestions on a website that could be a temporary replacement for vimm's??

to make a long story short: A bunch of corpos including Sega, Sony, & the Entertainment Software Association sent the Lair DMCA requests; either take the offending ROMs down, or the whole website goes down.
While it's morally questionable (especially if some of the ROMs are almost impossible to get nowadays), they're unfortunately within their legal rights to do so.
If there are some ROMs that are gone, even if they had nothing to do with DMCA's, it's most likely just a safety measure in the event another corpo wants to pull the trigger on another takedown
