I feel like the only people who would know the precise details for how this all works is Nintendo themselves lol.

Thanks for the additional information! So far I've found the best way to get things working is to set the "Game Slot" to "Auto", and then each Just Dance game has its own special preferences on what it needs to run properly.
If you have any information on a possible pattern, I'd love to see it, as currently everything just follows a jumbled pattern.
