I figured I'd be helpful and try to figure it out, but by all means I'm a novice. This is the first time I used a PS emulator.
My only advice is: try different ones for different games. From what I read, different plugins function differently on different computers. (Let me say that again... a plugin that works well on my system might be worse on your system.)
As I have no experience, you'll have to check other forums and reviews.
(I went as far as to get my emulator working. I'll deal with nitpicking stuff later.)
Shouldn't you tell him which plugins are probably most likely to work? Has there ever been anything better than Pete's DirectX and OpenGL plugins for video?
