If a game is known to the Vault but missing, it will appear under the "Missing or Outdated Media" section on the front page of its respective Vault. If someone has a copy of the missing media, they can upload it there by clicking on the title and clicking "upload" on the media's page.
If a game is completely absent from the Vault, then there are a few reasons that might be:
1. The game is not under the purview of the particular Vault, e.g. digital exclusives for most consoles, or most aftermarket games.
2. The game is under a particular category on Redump or No-Intro that has not been merged into its respective Vault's database, e.g. Satellaview games not being merged into the SNES Vault's database.
3. The game simply hasn't been verified by Redump or No-Intro yet. This last case is the easiest for someone with a physical copy to resolve: simply submit the dump to Redump or No-Intro first to help them verify it.
