The original Famicom release of SMB2 was released outside of Japan under the title "Lost Levels" as part of both the Virtual Console and the Switch NES collection. However, while the Wii version is included in the WiiWare vault (https://vimm.net/vault/37464), No-Intro classifies the ROM itself as a FDS release, and since Vimm does not currently include FDS ROMs in the Nintendo vault, you'll have to go to Myrient or the Internet Archive for that one.
Lost Levels not talking about the SNES version the us got talking about the Japan NES version.
