It sounds like enter is mapped to the start button. If you press Start on an empty save file, it lets you enter a name for the file, but if you don't enter any text then it won't save the file and pressing Start again will just return you to the save select screen. If you do enter a name (using the D-pad and the A button), then pressing Start will save the file, after which you can press Start again to start playing on that file.
Heyyo,
General question for anyone who may have downloaded the Vimm file:
I have the Sameboy emulator on my comp, and it runs the Vimm file for LoZ just fine. But when I got to actually start a game file - my enter key makes me switch back and forth between the player selection screen (1, 2, 3) and the name creation screen instead of allowing me to actual select letters for name creation.
Really what I'm asking is if anyones run the file on comp, played the game, and can let me know what their controls were like on their pc? Thank you in advance, I'm doing this as a trial run to help my dad out- he wants to run some games from his childhood/teen years and didnt know where to start, so I figured I'd guineapig my comp out and get it all figured out for him so I could just install and run the files afterwards for him without him getting too lost in the sauce :)
