Redirect, even with adblock off + all scripts?

Hi, I created an account just to mention this. I think it's an edge case, and I might have figured it out on my own, but in case anyone else has the same issue...
While using Waterfox (current) + Ublock Origin + selective use of noscript, even with all site scripts allowed and ublock disabled, I kept getting redirected to the adblock-enabled message. I have no idea why this would be the case, but the problem resolves itself when not run in a private window; I'd forgotten I was using a private window, as it's a force of habit/courtesy while using a browser at work.
I cannot fathom how or why that'd lead to a different experience, but more than anything else, I want to keep doing my part while browsing. So if anyone else has a similar experience, well, here you go, hope it helps.
