It's funny that all these years later, people STILL have the same complaints about "slow downloads" lol....despite the speeds being exponentially better than they were years ago when Vimm only offered NES and Snes content.
It won't kill anyone to wait a little while for your games. It isn't that critical.

When a torrent lacks seeders, the download isn't just slow, it stops entirely. The problem with the torrents for more obscure games isn't that they had slow downloads, it's that people often couldn't download them at all.
There are already torrents out there offering popular retro games, so if that's what you want then it already exists. Vimm is about offering reliable access to the most obscure releases as well as popular titles, and torrents aren't a way to do that unless you're running a private tracker with strict seeding requirements.
