I'd try the Ctrl and Alt keys, or Z and X.  You can also reconfigure the keys in most NES emulators.

The arrow keys work, the ENTER key is Start, but the A and B buttons are inconsistent. Can't tell which is which.
J, K, L, comma, period.

I am currently using Nestopia but would switch if someone recommends otherwise.

Any help???
