Clarifying question about manual cover image size

Are the front/back covers of manuals supposed to be sized as a half page, or are they supposed to be the same size as the other images in the series? I uploaded 2 manuals [DS: CSI- Dark Motives (USA) & GBC: Legend of Zelda - Oracle of Seasons (USA)] with the covers as full spreads at the beginning and end, but can alter them to be half size pages if needed.
