Yeah, I'm definitely following the progress of Project64 1.7. It still sounds a ways off but it looks very promising. That's another reason I chose Project64 for the Emulation Lair, it seems to be the only N64 emulator showing any sign of life. I've never had Game Boy in The Vault (I never owned a Game Boy prior to the GBA) but it's something I would consider now. The only section I haven't revived is the TG-16 but it's small, so maybe I could look into that. I know the GBA was backwards compatible but I don't think the SP is so there's no retail market for the original games. As for GameCube, the Wii is backwards compatible so that market is very much alive. I'll never even consider adding any system still in production and I extend that rule to backwards compatibility.

Ive been around this place for a LOOOOOONG time (probably close to 10 years but not quite) the addition of Nintendo64 is AWESOME to see. I was very saddened at the removal of GB&GBC roms and would love to see those make a come back! Also i wanted to tell you that there is a better version of the N64 Emulator you have (I hear 1.7 but I dont emulate on PCs anymore) You should start thinking about Gamecube too though, i know you probably wont go there till after the WII is dead but =] thats the best looking place for emulation to start heading. I just bought a SOFT-mod for my gamecube (SD adaptor) and got Super Mario, Star Fox, Mario Kart,(plus more) all running through an N64 Emulator and its excellent with the cubes controller. i also got all the other classics(Snes, ScummVM, etc) available on it too but what we need is more users to get involved and help grow the N64 capabilities =P . . . . . http://www.thepurplecube.org/forums/
