A Crash Course on Xenia Canary

Since I've seen and answered a couple of questions about Xenia Canary, I figured I'd make a quick guide on using that emulator. And hopefully clear up any confusion on the emulator. I'm not a dev on the emulator, but have been using it for a while. 1. The emulator is still being worked on, and has variable compatibility. You can search the compatibility issues page listed below to search for a game. 2. "state-playable" means the game works from start to finish with few, if any issues. "state-gameplay" means that the game runs, but has some remaining issues, or no one has tested it to completion. 3. Xbox Live Indie Games (XLIG) do not work on Canary for the time being. This is due to the XNA framework not working properly with the emulator. This sadly also includes Dust: An Elysian Tail and a few other XBLA games that were developed with it. 4. Xenia Manager can help those new to the emulator, since it runs on top of Canary, and can be used to update it, as well as patches (if a game supports them) and updated compatibility info. You can also set up settings for individual games. 5. If Xenia Canary/Manager is not working, you can also try Xenia Edge, which is a fork for Canary. It can run some games better. 6. Most importantly, as Xenia is still a work in progress, updates can break previously working games, so be patient.
