Re: Option to Torrent instead of Download?

There used to be torrents. They were discontinued because most of them ended up dead due to lack of seeders. Torrents are great for very large files and very popular files. They aren't great for obscure/niche content, which describes 99% of the Vimm's Lair library.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it'd be great if there was an option to torrent files as opposed to directly downloading them from the site.

This way, we wouldn't have to be rate limited on downloads and download speeds wouldn't be bottlenecked by the site (it'd be distributed by everyone seeding the file).
