Smith the Loser

Regarding Joseph Smith the Loser:
*He was never found guilty in a court of law.
*Most charges brought against him were found unconstitutional and unbased on appeals of Habeus Corpus.
*Smith never made a penny off the church; indeed, he lost all he had as the saints were expelled from city to city.
*Smith's doctrinal dissertations and scriptures (The Doctrine of Covenants in particular) rank with the finest sermons by the finest preachers in all of Christianity, often answering questions seemingly unanswerable (baptism of small children, faith vs. works, the infallibility of Holy Scripture and so forth.)
*Smith's church should have been destroyed in Kirkland, in Jackson County and especially in Nauvoo upon his death, especially if he were as bad as you make him out to be. Interestingly enough, it remains to be among the highest growing religions in the world.

Wait, those were the six bronze plates found in Illinois that were fake. Gold plates, bronze plates, it's so hard to keep track. Bottom line is, Smith was a loser, he wanted to be special, so he made stuff up. Then again, so many changes have been made to the Mormon doctrine to cover up the loopholes that it's hardly even his religion anymore.
