I read that the PS3 supports Linux out of the box. In fact.. here's a link. Pretty sure you can use other versions of Linux, but I don't use it, nor have a PS3, and I certainly don't feel like googling anything else.

I've never heard of anything. Zophar's Domain only has 1 emulator for the PS3 and its NES.
