Wow, thanks a lot. Sounds like I should definitely go for it then. I guess my choice is where to get it from then. It's $37 at DealExtreme so it's hard to argue with that price, even if it does take a while. I already have plenty of 2GB MicroSD cards that I grabbed up when they went below $10. In fact, I caught a deal in December that actually PAID me $.50 to buy them after rebate, which I got a couple weeks ago.
I think I'll try out DealExtreme. Compared to what I've shelled out for my SNES and N64 copiers, plus accessories, $37 is nothing. Now if only I could find someone selling a CF or SD to IDE card in a 3.5" bay for a decent price...

Alright well I did the research for ya by replacing my old R4 with a CycloDS/EZflash combo. Ill tell ya what Vimm, If you want a good solution for your slot 2 option this is it. With the R4 card you had to do all kinds of crazy patching and what not to get any GBA games playing on the slot 2 card. With the CycloDS Evolution / EZ Flash you just fire up the rom. It does all the patching for you while it loads the rom. I don't know if there are any games out there that are problems for this but from my experience with the R4 card these issues are usually cleared up pretty quick via Firm Ware updates. I got my Cyclo/EZ flash with a 4gig SDHC card from Realhotstuff.com for about $79.00. I ordered it on a Friday and got it the following Monday. If you have any other questions let me know. I too prefer the DS for this sort of thing since it doesn't require any Custom Firm Ware for the console. Only down side is SNES emulation is rather spotty.
