You're not missing much. It's essentially just the North American version of Super Mario Bros 2 only you can't run. You can visit this website here to see more of the minor differences between the two games. They also offer the ROM for download near the bottom of the game. Vimm doesn't host it because he likes to keep it USA games only. If you want to play the real Japanese Super Mario Bros 2 then you just have to play "The Lost Levels" from Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES. Watch out for the poison mushrooms! I think all of the popular NES, SNES, and Genesis emulators work with Vista now. If it's not working you should try finding where you extracted the emulator, right click the executable file, and change compatibility mode to XP. If that doesn't work you could always try a different emulator.

I was just curious as to why the ROM section does not have the game that inspired Super Mario Bros. 2 for the NES? is the game that hard to find? I know it's supposed to be a sucky game, but I'd still like to get my hands on it someday...just to see it for myself. (other than in AVGN or IG video game reviews...hehehe).

Also, how many of the ROMS/Emulators out there are working well with Windows Vista? I know most work well with XP fine....but I didn't know with the change if Vista and the emulators like JNES were having the same kinds of issues that other XP software has been having on Vista for some users.
