I'm having trouble downloading Nestopia. I had no problem with XP, but now I am using Vista and it keeps telling me it cannot create the file. Any suggestions?
I've designed a full installer for the Windows emulators in the Emulation Lair. To start with I've tried it out on ZSNES and Snes9x. I have XP, so would somebody be willing to download them and try them out in Vista for me? If this works then I'll use this template for all the other Windows emulators.
I've been wanting to do this for a long time but installers tend to add a lot of overhead to the file. The installer I'm trying out now makes the downloads even smaller than the current self-extracting zip files I use. I hope this works out and I'm sure that new users would really appreciate a user-friendly installer for their emulators.
