This sounds like its a little before my time so I don't have any idea what it could be.
If it is an Apple 2 or 2gs game you can try looking around Virtual Apple for something that sounds like it.
For cantide5ga's game, I haven't a clue. :-(
But Tarbolde's game appears to be the Apple 2 version of "Oregon Trail". Note how every white line or black line that's one pixel thick appears as either Blue or Orange. When the graphics do this, but the total amount of available colors is above 4, you can guarantee that it's an Apple II release. Search for DSK files that are made for these Apple models:
>Apple II, Apple II+, Apple IIc, and Apple IIe.
