The keyboard keys work fine! It's the controller keys that won't allow me to move, even though I have no problems with the controller on the NES and SNES emulators I have downloaded. 

Neither the the Directional pad nor Left analog stick seem to work with the GENS Emulator.

What keys do you have the movement set for? Generally, the keys on the numeric keypad work far better than the letter keys on the keyboard, or the set of four arrow keys.
