I appreciate the thought, but there is nothing wrong with the ROM in The Vault. Every N64 ROM there was verified by GoodN64 3.14 as a perfect copy. I only carry US games though, so perhaps the European version you linked to is more emulator friendly.

Check out this link, it should work fine. If not try Googlin' 'Working Donkey Kong 64 Rom' or something to that effect.
